Armour geddin' reinforcements.
One of my (several) Chaos armies is The Scourged, renegade marines who have turned over to Tzeentch (look up their origin, it's a corker). I began with Helbrutes and Havocs, and seem to have been leaning into the heavy choices ever since.
And this means vehicles! Since overcoming my phobia of painting anything without a slottabase, I've been enjoying armoured heavy choices for The Scourged, not least because they offer me a bigger canvas to freehand those chaotic sigils.
First up is a Predator Destructor. I already had the lascannon variant, so wanted this single-barrel tank to offer some anti-elite options. Being an eBay rescue, it was missing its sponsons, so I added some spare Imperial Guard heavy bolters. They're magnetised (naturally) so I can swap them for lascannons if needed, but I don't think anti-armour is going to be a problem for this army.
Speaking of which - my second Vindicator (they're boxy, but good). These are still my favourite of the tanks, and I got to add a nice Tzeentch symbol on the dozer blade, as well as a particularly neat Scourged sigil on the side doors.
I found a spare havoc launcher for this one, so it can really maximise its firepower (the ability to inflict lethal hits makes even secondary weapons dangerous). Not that it really needs it - I've played with Vindicators a couple of times in 10th edition and they can really kick out some damage.
The painting itself was very simple (leaving me more time to agonise over the the freehand): an overbrush of Kantor Blue on a black undercoat, with Wazzdakka Red and Carroburg Crimson wash for the red bits. Gold and steel details to follow.
